Qing Dynasty Chinese Sino-Tibetan gilt bronze Bodhisattvas Buddha figure of Vajradhara, Buddha (Tibetan: dor je chang, sang gye. English: the Vajra Holder, Enlightened One). The primordial buddha, personification of the Dharmakaya - truth body of enlightenment and progenitor of the Vajrayana system of Buddhism.
Peaceful in appearance, with an attractive face, he holds the two hands folded across the heart in the mudra of non-duality. The right hand holds a vajra scepter and the left a vajra-handled bell. Beautifully adorned with a five-pointed crown of gold, each point is emblazoned with a buddha of the five families. With gold jewels, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, anklets and a girdle, he wears an upper garment. The lower body is attired in a skirt. Seated in vajra posture with the legs interlocked atop a moon disc and double lotus throne. Extensive trace of gilt and blue pigment on the hair.
The underside with incised Quadra-petal flori-form visvavajra mark and centralized DaiJi.

Over all in EXCELLENT condition. With normal anomalies in nature, missing some stones inlaid, sign of stressed surface, minor scratch & dents. Surface traced wear and or declined to gilding. some missing stones inlaid. Normal, consider ages and wear.
