14K gold filled “Rolex” case. Rectangular cream coloured dial with raised gold arabic numerals. 17 jewel baguette style movement signed “Rolex Watch Co. Geneva”. Gold baton hands. Brown leather band. CONDITION: Case exhibits just minor wear to the high points of the gold filled finish. The dial is an exceptional original example with great, uniform patina. The movement displays no significant wear. The hands are excellent. Band is unworn. These Rolex “Standard” watches are becoming increasingly difficult to find. They were made exclusively for the Canadian market in the 1930’s. Measures 40mm to lug tips, 14mm lug width.
