10K gold filled “Wadsworth” case. Rectangular silver and gold coloured dial with bright gold “1/4 C-E-N-T-U-R-Y C-L-U-B” hour markers. Dial marked “Rolex Benedict Proctor”. 17 jewel signed Rolex “Prima” baguette style movement. Gold hands. Gold filled “stretch” band. CONDITION: Case exhibits just very minor wear to the high points of the gold filled finish. The dial is an exceptional original example with great, uniform patina. The movement exhibits minor oxidization, mainly found on the winding gears. The mainspring is broken and the watch is not currently running. The hands are excellent. Band is lightly worn. Rolex Prince watches are becoming increasingly difficult to find. This “Observatory” example made exclusively for the Canadian market in the 1930’s. Measures 43mm to lug tips, 15mm lug width.
