Description
FRENCH JAPY FRERES MARBLE SHELF CLOCK, eight-day brass movement with Japy Freres "GDE. MED. D' HONNEUR" mark, coil gong, housed in white marble case with applied ormolu-style mountings including classical-style masks, beveled-glass door; gilt-metal dial with Arabic numerals. Pendulum present. Fourth quarter 19th/early 20th century. 11 3/4" H, 9 1/2" x 5 1/4" OA.
Excellent condition overall, some minute flakes to case. Currently runs for short periods.
