Description
GEORGE II MAHOGANY LOOKING GLASS / WALL MIRROR, Queen Anne vertical pier form, cut-out scrolled crest featuring central gilt foliate device, two-part mirror glass. Retains likely original pine back boards and a fine old surface with rich color. Second quarter 18th century. 46" HOA, 17 1/2" WOA.
Very good overall condition with minor cracks, breaks, and repairs to veneers. Later bracing added to reverse. Old restoration to gilt surface. Glass possibly an old replacement.
