AN EARLY PLAINS BEADED HIDE PIPE-BAG, PROBABLY CHEYENNE, 19TH CENTURY. The majority of the multicolored sinew sewn beads of small (seed) size on the upper section, rendered in geometric patterns and horizontal bands and with cone drops. The lower portion decorated with larger black and white pony beads above the hide fringe. Overall length including fringe approximately 33.5 inches. Native American.
