Pennant, Thomas. British (1776-1818). 17 hand colored bird prints from the 1768 octavo edition of "British Zoology". The birds are: Black Cock ++ Falcon Gentil a variety ++ Falcon Gentil ++ Red Legged Crow ++ Chatterer ++ Oyster Catcher ++ Hen Harrier ++ Wood Grous ++ Bustard ++ Whimbrel ++ Cenereous Godwit ++ M&F Goosander ++ Imber/Northern diver ++ M&F Velvet Duck ++ Arctic Gulls ++ Shag ++ Avoset. All plates are approximately 6.75" x 9.5".
