R Lalique Pensees French Art Deco Pansies Floral Motif Vase, European art glass, 5 inches high, 6 inches wide, signed R. LALIQUE in embossed letters along the edge on the underside of the bowl, additional faint hand etched script R. Lalique France adjacent to the raised signature - the hand etched inscription or signature may be later or added. When examining the vase in daylight for a second time when we located the signature we also spotted a very small side chip, approximately one sixteenth of and inch by three thirtyseconds of an inch, illustrated in the detail images. About four extremely tiny to very tiny rim flecks. Light base wear. One tiny black speck on the surface of the glass at the base of the wall below the rim. The hand etched inscription or signature may be later or added.
