Description
Slightly vertically elongated round iron tsuba with rough surface (arashi-ji) decorated with high relief inlay: three sages sitting around hibachi and watching the full moon, which is inlaid in silver. A teapot, a fan, and a kiseru are finely inlaid in soft metals, as well as chrysanthemums on both sides of the plate. A beautiful and moody piece. Unsigned.
