Description
A Rare & Very Antique Six Piece English Centerpiece Set with Hand Cut Crystal Bowls which detach from the Sterling Silver & Gold Plated Bases which have been adorned with beautiful engraving & etching work. On the large centerpiece, the setting is crafted into the motif of grapes on a grapevine encircling the setting. The smaller pieces also feature a similarly beautiful engraving work on the exterior only adding to its beauty. Crafted in London in 1812 by William Pitts who began crafting silver in 1781. Given that this piece is over 200 years old, it is a rarity to find such a set in Perfect Condition like this one. On the large crystal bowl, there is slight chipping on the corona, but this can easily be repaired. The large centerpiece weighs 6.28 pounds & measures 11.75" high by 11.75" wide by 8.5" deep. The two smaller parts of the centerpiece weigh 1.21 pounds respectively & they each measure 5" high by 4.75" wide by 3.5" deep.
Condition
Perfect Condition except for a slight chip on the corona of the large bowl crystal bowl. But for an over 200 Year Old Piece, this is in a fantastic shape.
