VICTORIAN PUNCHED BRASS AND JEWELLED LAMP SHADE, dome form with scattered slits to the brass body, applied colored jewels of varying sizes, four circular glass windows, stamped-brass ornamentation to the rims likely together by association. Late 19th/early 20th century. 6 1/2" H, 9 1/4" D fitter.
Very good condition overall with two windows having a moderate to sizeable chip to the edge of the panels, not affecting the profile, stamped brass bottom ring with a circular drill hole, some light denting and wear, later solder to attach the stamped-brass rings.
Provenance: Property of Bill and Karen Webb.
