Description
1st-3rd century AD. A mixed group of bronze medical instruments comprising: five spoons, each with a shallow bowl and round-section shaft; two pairs of tweezers, one with suspension hoop to top and circle-and-dot pattern to arms, one attached to a suspension plaque; one a scraper with balustered handle and rounded blade; and one handle with balustered shank and chevrons to one end. 67.8 grams total, 6-12.5cm (2 1/2 - 5"). Property of a private collector; acquired before 1975. [9]
