Fine Large Chinese Silver 9-Dragon Seal and Blackwood Carved Dragon Stand & Cover; the four sides of the silver seal each carved in high relief with 2 facing Dragons chasing Pearls in Clouds, the top with a forward facing large Dragon and Pearl with a raised face and extended horns, all 9 Dragons with inlaid gold eyes; the bottom with square sides incised with 4 further dragons in low relief and a large seal mark to base. The blackwood base carved with Buddhist double lotus petals and the 5 sides of the blackwood cover each with forward facing Dragons. Height of silver seal 5 1/2 inches (14.1 cm.) X base 4 inches square (10.3 cm. sq.). Height of blackwood stand and cover 8 3/8 inches (21.4 cm.).
