Description
Japy Freres French Boulle Style Mantle Clock: 19th century Boulle style mantle clock by Japy Freres with an Apollo head pendulum and rounded glass door. Ormolu decoration on pierced brass inlaid with tortoise shell. Back is ebonised wood. All parts are present and clock chimes on the hour and the half hour. Marked with Japy Freres on movement, as well marked "A&N" on movement and pendulum. Dimensions are: 13 3/8" tall x 7 1/2" wide x 4 1/8" deep. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Clock runs, has not been checked for run time or accuracy. Lifting of tortoise shell and brass inlay on sides. Enamel numbers are not flush with face (refer to image).
