Description
17th Century Pike Weapon, the shaft is covered with Ornamental Bronze including 52 Late Medieval period coins, 51 of the coins range in date from 1623-1688, there is one spot from a missing coin and one replacement coin that appears to be dated in the 1810's. It measures 56" long. the "fighting end" of the pike is Steel as it would have needed to be Battle ready and able to be used in combat. This piece is likely Ceremonial due to the ornamentation and Decorations of the piece including old red hand Loomed cloth covering the wooden shaft.
