Antique Colt Frontier 1878 DA Double Action Revolver Made in 1897. Chambered for 44-40. Re-plated and re-barrelled. Setup for Cowboy action Shooting with "Free Spinning" Cylinder for fast loading. Serial Number on butt: 38172, Frame with Rampant Colt Medallion (double Stamped), and the Number 235 present on the frame and Loading Gate. Period Hard Rubber Grips with wear and a chip, loose on frame. Double Action function works well. Some pitting and plate loss around front sight. Originality of all parts unknown, not test fired. *ANTIQUE
