(Hawthorne, 2003) A limited edition train set produced by Hawthorne Village. Created as the "Magic of Disney Express" collection, this large set includes the steam locomotive with coal car, combine car, and passenger car that make up the first three issues for the collection, as well as nine additional train cars, many pieces of curved and straight track, a railroad crossing section, and a Spectrum brand speed and directional control switch. This impressive Disney character themed set lights up, and comes housed in a brown 3-drawer compartmentalized box for easy storage. The set appears to be in very good condition with minor wear from light use, however the functionality has not been tested. Many of the pieces remain in their original plastic bags and appear to be unused or used very little. Some train cars have small plastic railing pieces that may be slightly bent from storage.
