Antique Famille Rose, Famille Verte or Fencai serving, centerpiece or dresser bordered tray platter with angular feet, interior and exterior floral edge and an extensive landscape with figures. The background glaze on all sides has a very faint element of green or celadon color.

Perhaps a dozen glaze flecks and flakes to the border edge interior edge, visible top of border gilt wear and some exterior bottom edge scattered roughness, interior scenic panel area generally quite sound save for there is a thin diagonal impressed mark or scratch from top to bottom with in the center panel composition starting at upper center and extending lower right that is generally only visible in angular (raking) light (see intentional glare detail image), ADDITIONAL NOTES ABOUT THE DIAGONAL LINES: The same lines are visible on the back so we do not believe they are scratches but rather either mold marks or repair lines but we are uncertain. We have added blacklight images and more natural light images. Thank you. There is a heavier than average concentration of tiny firing bubbles at the center and lower center of the landscape somewhat in a line with some additional bubbles along the same path extending up on the top edge of the tray below the composition (also in a detail image). In addition to any item-specific notes preceding this sentence all 16 lots in this collection are understood to be in typical sound estate discovery condition with scattered surface enamel wear commensurate with age and likely some gilt edge (when present) wear commensurate with age and, again, if not noted in a preceding sentence, free of cracks and hairlines and without chips greater than perhaps a few small glaze flecks. All examples can be assumed to potentially have some scattered firing spots typical of most wares of this category.
