HERMÈS - a vintage crocodile skin doctor bag. Crafted from polished black crocodile skin, designed with a structured shape, with a tapered top handle, hinged opening, push lock fastening, gold-tone hardware and lined with soft black leather. Plaque initialled LA. Measuring 11 by 15 by 24cms.

The handbag is in good to fair overall condition with wear consistent with its age. The exterior holds strong colour, with wear to most edges where the polished coating has chipped and there is alight scattering of hairline scratches overall. The handle is in good condition with a faint white mark and small areas of wear to each end. The metalwork holds some areas of wear to the plating with a light scattering of hairline scratches. The interior lining is in fair condition with a heavy scattering of marks, surface scratches and holds a musty odour. Believed to be produced between 1950's-60's. Is without a dust bag or key.
