Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, Pair of Xuantong bowls. The porcelain potted with a shallow body, of a shallow vessel, broad wide cavetto, with a flaring opening lip, raised on a small round slightly raised footing. All reserved hand painted phoenix amidst scrolling floral ornamentations are rendered in clean white underglaze base color which contrast against the Famille rose design color and gilt fine color. Famille rose hand painting depicted vividly hand painted in enamel design, famille rose translates to the pink family, on a colored ground decoration. Each bulging sides enclosing colorful falangcai, famille rose on a colored ground decoration, of Bajixiang. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.

Mark on under base, a v vertical six underglaze blue script characters reign mark, Xuantong Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
