Chinese Qing Dynasty ruby red reward vase. Delicately potted in a slightly flattened globular body with round shoulder gently raised the cylindrical tall neck toward the flaring rim, raised on slight oval foot base. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in ruby-red underglaze base color which contrast against the famille design color. Famille rose hand painting depicted vividly hand painted in enamel design, famille rose translates to the pink family, on a colored ground decoration. Each bulging sides enclosing colorful falangcai, famille rose on a colored ground decoration, of Bajixiang. The Exterior adorned with peony flowers blooms interspersed with fresh foliage in vivid tones color. The peony is the unofficial Chinese National Flower. It stands as a symbol of spring and female beauty and reproduction. It also represents richness, honor and high social class. It is a favored flower for the 12th wedding anniversary. Peonies from Luoyang are considered the best in the country and are showcased in a festival held in Louyang in April or May of each year. The color is balanced, elegant and exquisite. The porcelain displays a subtle sheen as the light ricochets across the finely glazed exterior. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous craftsman.

Mark on under base, a six underglaze blue seal script characters reign mark, Qianlong Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
