Ceremonial sword for the Virginia Polytechnic Institute, inscribed to John D. Clark. Nicely engraved blade with 1872 date of schools founding. Made by N.S. Meyer Armed Forces equipment, New York. Stainless blade marked W. Germany, Challenger trade mark. 29 3/4" blade presented in 1965, blade has proof medallion.

Condition

Very good condition overall, as is scabbard.
