This lot consists of an unframed aerosol stencil on cardboard, done in the contemporary style of street artist Banksy (British, 1974 -). Image depicts a young girl and young boy in silhouette. The boy hides a bouquet of flowers behind his back. The girl holds a spiked club. The name "Banksy" has been spray-painted at top right corner. Done in the contemporary graffiti style for which the enigmatic street artist Banksy is so well known. This simple, offbeat piece would make a great addition to any contemporary art collector's gallery. Unframed measures approximately 14" x 11".

Reverse side features a handwritten smiley face with the message, "Enjoy your free art!" As well as a stamp which reads, "Dismaland Bemusement Park" (a play on Disneyland, and an actual amusement park created by Banksy). Handwritten inscription, "Banksy is dismal! 16/100" can be noted at lower edge of piece.

Banksy is an anonymous English-based street artist, vandal, political activist and painter. He combines dark humor with graffiti, all done in a distinctive stenciling technique. His works of political and social commentary have been featured on streets, walls, and bridges of cities throughout the world.
