Possibly by Rambour, with German bisque head, open mouth, fixed blue glass eyes, original mohair wig (not removed for inspection), bisque hands, the left holding a rose, on velvet-covered base with drawer and single-air cylinder movement causing the figure to raise his right arm and turn his head, dressed in original satin costume and tricorn hat trimmed with lace and metal-thread braid, ht. 14 ½ in. (37 cm) including hat, usual wear in costume, head movement inactive, drawer stuck shut, working condition but movement would benefit from cleaning. With fixed key. - Provenance: Collection of José Mario Armero.
