This abstracted image is sparse and clean in its style. A beautiful arrangement of line and shape. Done in the vibrant, modern style for which Ernst is so well known. This unframed piece measures approximately 10.75" x 7.75".

Max Ernst (German, 1891-1976) was a painter, sculptor, designer, and poet. He is remembered as a forerunner of both the Dada and Surrealist movements. Ernst's experimental attitude toward creating art helped to open the gates for some of the most playful and progressive art movements of our time.
