Description
Chinese Kangxi circa 1700 Porcelain Teapot with a design of flowers in underglaze blue, iron red and Gold to the fluted sides, the spout and cover edge with European Silver mounts and Chain marked "950M" ; together with a Chinese Doucai Porcelain Stem Cup with Lotus & Duck design and Chenghua mark inside base in underglaze blue. Width of Kangxi Teapot from handle to spout 5 1/4 inches (13.4 cm.).
Condition
Age related wear to gold on Kangxi teapot, a small polished chip inside mouth with small short associated hairline, the cover with a crack with old glue repair and associated chips to inside edge of cover, small glaze flakes visible under silver edge mounting.
