Victorian 12kt Emerald & Pearl Ring, Sz. 6.75. Late 1800's 3.8mm round old cut emerald with short table and a single 1mm seed pear on front and back.The band has a a scrolled top. The ring on top is appx. 9.5mm down the finger and appx. 4.7mm wide. The scrolled band accents are appx. 3.9mm tapering down to 1.5mm at the back of the finger. The ring has a mark with three dots by the maker. It has been tested and tests strongly as 10kt and less strong as 14kt which usually makes it 12kt, especially in these older rings. Age is late 1800's. It is a very interesting ring, Each stone is held with 6 prongs however two of the prongs on the emerald are word to the top of the stone and do not come over the stone.
