An Assembled Group of Federal Fireplace Tools and Accessories, Early 19th Century. Comprising a pair of bell metal and wrought iron fire tools: shovel and tongs, probably Boston or New York; and a brass and wire fender.
Dimensions: Length of shovel 31 1/4in; Length of tongs 32 1/2in; Height of fender11 1/4in; width 38in; depth 11 3/4in.

Condition
The tools with general marks and wear commensurate with age and use. The bell metal handles have been polished. The iron with typical oxidation and pitting. Wear and rubbing to the brass on fender, minor bending to wire and metalwork.
