Description
Native American, United States, Archaic to Woodland period, ca. 8500 BCE to 100 CE (10500 to 2000 BP). A fabulous collection of 14 large stone projectile points, each hand-knapped from a matte chert stone. The points were collected across the United States and display the great array of types that emerged from different ancient cultures. Some of the types included are Ashtabula, Pandora, Lehigh Broad, Buzzard Roost Creek, Morrow Mountain Type I, Calf Creek, Breckenridge, Etley, Osceola, Turin, and Mulberry Creek. Size of case: 12.125" L x 1.125" W x 8" H (30.8 cm x 2.9 cm x 20.3 cm); largest point: 3" L x 1.25" W x 8" H (7.6 cm x 3.2 cm x 20.3 cm)

Restoration to top far right Calf Creek point. Nicks and chips to other points as expected with age and use. Displayed in a modern wooden and glass case. Stable pressure cracks on wood frame.
