Description
Exceptional WWI - WWII Group of Col. Clarence Olsen of NY, who during WWII was the Executive Officer of the 262nd Infantry Regiment, 66th Division in the ETO. Early in 1942 he was stationed in Hawaii, and in WWI was in the 27th Division. The group includes all of his medals, engraved Army Commendation medal, Post WWII replacement WWI Victory medal with crimp brooch, 14K gold pin (1.5 grams), 10K Gold NYS Long & Faithful Service Medal, Sterling NYS Conspicuous service cross (traces to him), numbered WWI NYS medal, engraved WWI Rochester medal, engraved marksmanship medal, and more as shown. His three 1948 dated BSM certificates are included, as well as some original newspaper articles, group photo, Hawaii documents, 66th Division newspapers, and more. Includes some hardcopy photos of him and research.
