WWII MIA/KIA Paper group to S/Sgt. Raymond J. Zeltman of Hicksville, NY. He was a member of the 370th Bomb Squadron, 307th Bomb Group, and was KIA on 7/13/1944 when his plane was shot down near a Japanese base. This group includes both his MIA and KIA telegrams, his Purple Heart Certificate, letters from dignitaries to include an original signed 1944 Douglas MacArthur letter, letters from his commanding Officer, Group Chaplain, interesting headstone and burial paperwork, and other ephemera as shown.
