Near East, Islamic, Persia / Iran, ca. early to mid-20th century CE. An elegant steel sprinkler pitcher or ewer boasting intricate floral and geometric decoration highlighted by lustrous gilt details. Surmounted by a domed lid with a prominent, pointed finial, the vessel features a flared foot, a rotund body, a slender, elongated neck, and an annular rim. The gracefully arching handle extends from one side of the rim, curving upwards near the bottom to end in a flower-shaped terminal, while a tapering spout stretches upward from the body on the opposite side.
