Jacob Eby, Manheim, PA Hepplewhite Inlaid Cherry Tall Case Clock. Broken arched pediment with turned finials, turned column supports, cove molded waist with shaped lip molded pendulum door, below an Eagle and shield oval inlay, fluted corners and inlaid base with French bracket feet. Brass works, 30-hour movement, illuminated dial signed "JACOB EBY, MANHEIM" with calendar dial. Jacob Eby was a clockmaker listed in Manheim, Pennsylvania tax records from 1803 to 1828. 89"h. x 18-1/2"w. x 10-1/2"d. Condition: Very good with a couple of age cracks. Appears to be the original finish.
