The document appoints "Edward Goldberg of Wichita, Kansas…Agent for the Indians of the Quapaw Agency in the Indian Territory, vice George L. Doane, removed…" 1p, measuring 22" x 17", Washington, D.C., dated October 9, 1897. Edge toning, soiling, and creasing. Flattened folds. With a large, bold signature by McKinley.
