Native American, Southwestern United States, Anasazi/Ancestral Puebloans, ca. 1250 to 1350 CE. A hand-built pottery pitcher with black linear and geometric motifs covering the white ground. A thick handle curves off the verso so this vessel could be used in a utilitarian context. Size: 5.4" W x 6" H (13.7 cm x 15.2 cm)

Condition
Repaired with small chips and light adhesive residue along break lines. Abrasions and pitting, with light fading to painted motifs, and light earthen deposits. Nice decorations throughout.
