Roman, Imperial, ca. 1st to 4th century CE. A collection of ancient brass deer and bird appliques that likely once formed parts of fibula / brooch ornaments. The verso's are flat and the deer have shallow grooves. Size triple deer: 1.43" L x 1" W (3.6 cm x 2.5 cm)
Provenance: East Coast collection, New York Gallery, New York City, New York, USA, acquired before 2010
