A Folk Art 19th Century fine needlepoint sampler done by Jane Wood who was 13 years old at the time she created the sampler. There is a large house in the center with sheep, a peacock, dogs, birds and a floral border. The sampler reads, "Weep not dear friends, but be content. For I do you was only lent....Lift up your eyes your tears refrain...I hope to meet you all again... Jane Wood Aged 14 Years 1853. In a 29 1/2" x 30 1/2" frame.
