An antique Meiji period Japanese polychrome cloisonne enamel vase of an ovoid form with short and wide neck, bearing two painted enamel panels, the recto panel shows a noble Japanese lady in a landscape and the reverse panel shows a composition with chrysanthemums, grapes and butterflies on a bright turquoise ground.
