Two tie-dye tops owned by The Lovin' Spoonful founder, John Sebastian.

The first cotton top features a green and blue tie-dye pattern with bits of red dye at each sleeve cuff and a three-quarter button-down neckline, no size or label present, fraying present on bottom hem. The second cotton top features a pink, yellow, blue, orange, and green accordion-style tie-dye pattern, a five-button closure neckline, a single breast pocket, and buttons on each sleeve cuff, labeled "Jefferson," size L.

The tops were dyed, c. late 1960s- early 1970s, at the 46-acre artistic community near Studio City called "The Farm." At The Farm, Sebastian was nicknamed "guitar fingers" due to his tight grip on his fabric (strength gained from playing the guitar) during the tie-dye process.
