Imperial Porcelain Manufactory, St. Petersburg, period of Alexander II
Circular, the center with a green and tied ropework band, the rims decorated with oblong green ground cartouches with ropework borders centering ropework Russian Imperial double-headed eagles, alternating with royal blue ground roundels decorated with gilt anchors, a gilt orb and the gilt cypher of Emperor Alexander II, all joined by link chains, with a gilt rim, marked under base with underglaze green manufactory mark. Diameter 9 3/4 inches (24.8 cm).
