Standing portrait of a young cavalryman wearing what may be an altered mounted services jacket or state jacket, gauntlets, and boots, posing before a large draped American flag. He holds what appears to be a pipe down to his side. (Some rusted abrasions, spotting, and bending/creasing to plate; resealed.) Housed in a pressed paper case.
