ABRAHAM LINCOLN.
Partially-printed Document Signed, “Abraham Lincoln” as President, accomplished in manuscript, 1 page, folio, 14.5” x 20”, Choice Very Fine. Dated March 25, 1861, Washington, DC, this impressive and large document is an official Presidential appointment for George Kyler as the Missouri Register of the Land Office at St. Louis. This document has been professionally matted and framed in a nice display using Plexiglas, measuring 26” x 43” having blue felt inlays and golden outer and inner wooden frames, which also includes a large image of Lincoln to the left of the document, with a golden plaque below. Some typical light tone to the document, all text and manuscript portions being very clear. Here Lincoln uses his full signature, “Abraham Lincoln” is very sharp and clear in bold brown ink and measures a large 3” long!
