CURRIER & IVES CIVIL WAR HISTORICAL PRINT, lithograph on paper, a bust-length portrait, titled "Abraham Lincoln / The Nation's Martyr", housed under glass in a period molded frame with gilt liner. Together with an earlier half-length portrait of seated figure, titled "Abraham Lincoln / Republican Candidate for Sixteenth President of the United States", published by Kellogg, housed in a 19th century veneered frame. 1860-1865. The Nation's Martyr 13 3/4" x 10" sight, 17 5/8" x 13 5/8" OA.
The Nation's Martyr with light overall toning, minor areas of foxing/discoloration. Kellogg campaign portrait with moderate toning, areas of staining/discoloration. Frames with wear and losses. Not examined out of frames.
