Western Asia, Achaemenid Empire, ca. 550 to 330 BCE, A fine bronze phiale or offering / libation dish decorated via the repousse technique with an abstract flower pattern surrounded by a band of nested triangles bordered with a dotted periphery. Fabulously preserved with gorgeous green patina, demonstrating exceptional artistry and technique from the Achaemenid or First Persian Empire! Size: 5.625" in diameter x 1.75" H (14.3 cm x 4.4 cm)
