Republication for Puebla of the text of the agreement between the U.S. and Mexico made by the joint commission on claims in 1870 with commentary by the Mexican secretary of state and others. At head of text: "Gobierno del estado libre y soberano de Puebla. Secretaría de gobernacion y milicia. Por la secretaría de Estado y del despacho de relaciones, se comunica á este gobierno lo siguiente ..." Agreement signed and dated: "Por órden de los comisionados, J. Carlos Mejia. George G. Gaither, secretarios. Es cópia. México, enero 13 de 1870 ..." The broadside is dated and signed in type: "Puebla de Zaragoza, febrero 4 de 1870. S. Nieto, secretario de gobernacion y milicia." OCLC locates only one copy, at Yale.
