This Union Civil War Document concerns the absence of a private G. J. Simmico of the 15th Regiment of the Volunteer Infantry. Dated October 11, 1864 Simmico took sick at Jeffersonville, IN on November 2nd,and transfer to St. Louis, MO. Signed by Major General George H Thomas and annotated by assistant adjunct General.
