Description

Cotton 20's/30's "turkey in the straw" quilt, all hand pieced and quilted, with an unusual diamond-in-a-square/sawtooth design that is also known as "mother's dream" and "grandmother's dream." It measures 72" X 82" and is in excellent, never washed condition with some age spotting in places and no wear. There is quilting around the piecework throughout at an even 8 stitches to the inch. The back and hand stitched, rolled binding are the same blue floral print, and the batting is thin.
