Not only did win it placing the only bid once the auction went live, but the commission was only 15 % as opposed to 30 % or more in UK auctions where I buy most of my microscopes. Plus the sjiopping was very reasonable and there was no currency conversion since this is a US auction. UK auctions increase my prices by 40 % in USD! Ring is very nice but it looked gold in the pictures, which is what I was looking for. But it's still a pretty silver ring.
