This was a dream purchase. A microscope I had despaired of ever owning due to sky high prices in previous. Not only did win it placing the only bid once the auction went live, but the commission was only 15 % as opposed to 30 % or more in UK auctions where I buy most of my microscopes. Plus the sjiopping was very reasonable and there was no currency conversion since this is a US auction. UK auctions increase my prices by 40 % in USD! Payment was a breeze and the item arrived in a couple of days. I couldn't be happier-thank you Southern Historical Antiques.

Ring is very nice but it looked gold in the pictures, which is what I was looking for. But it's still a pretty silver ring.
