The items I won were exactly as described and shipped out within a reasonable amount of time. They were packed exceptionally well and the entire process was very positive. I recommend giving McLaren Auction a look for their next auction. I know I will.

This auctioneer leaves the grading of an advertising piece for the potential buyer to determine from a single picture. The tray I received looked dead mint in the picture but the actual description had no grading details. When it comes to antique advertising condition and eye appeal are the major criteria. In my case the picture was a fair degree nicer than the actual tray

better descriptions of losses and additional pictures of both sides of items would have been helpful.... especially for online purchasers.

they should not have removed the frame of the paintings because the entire painting with frame can fit the box they used. It was large enough to accommodate both paintings.
